Kate Spade Adds A Certain Je Ne Sais Quoi to Your Wardrobe

One of my favorite designers is Kate Spade. I love her bold colors and her perfect blend of retro and modern feminine silhouettes. If you have had a chance to view her Fall 2012 collection, you’ll see that it doesn’t veer too much from her classic aesthetic. But there is something I particularly love about her new collection: it’s travel-inspired, more specifically, French-inspired (French à la Mode). The bows and polka dots are feminine and fun and the cotton tees that read “Pardon My French” and “Joie de Vivre” add a certain je ne sais quoi. There’s even Eiffel tower-shaped jewelry to match the theme. It’s the perfect gift for the classy globetrotting fashionista, me thinks.

I think more designers should incorporate travel-themed accessories and apparel into their collections. They’d definitely find a fan in me.
