Victoria’s Secret is No Secret to the British Anymore

At last, Victoria’s Secret has arrived in the U.K. (right before the Olympics, very conveniently)! The American lingerie titan finally brings affordable lingerie to the Brits. The first store opened up in the Westfield Stratford shopping mall, near the Olympic Park, while the second store dazzled the famous Bond Street, near Oxford Circus. From the looks of it, it seems more like a glitzy emporium than a lingerie store, much prettier than any store I’ve seen in the U.S. What a perfect example of how the rough economic climate hasn’t dented the spirit of global retail.

Frankly, I’m surprised it’s taken them this long to open a store in London.
